I am preparing to install Kenwood DDX7015 and KNA-DV4100 (DVD Navigation System). The 4100 has a white wire labeled "Car Speed Signal Wire". Does anybody here have any idea where on the Titan I can connect that to?
Before you tell me to get the Service Manual. I have it and tried looking at it. I've got some ideas but I would like to know if anybody knows for sure what I can do? That book is not the easiest read.
My Titan is a KC SE with mid-level stereo. No navi, no dvd.
Thanks

Thanx
The monitor will fix flush with the front face of the dash. It will not stick out. Right now I plan just to use current speakers. If they don't sound good after the initial install then I will dive into replacing them. My first phase is to install the hu, navigation computer and sirius receiver.
No problems yet, I am still planning. The replacement Lid Cluster just came in the mail today. I plan to post photos of the install when I am all done.

Connector M24 pin 29 is actually on the combination meter, this would be behind the instrument cluster.
Where you would want to pick it up is on connector M98, pin 24. This plugs into the AV Switch. If you have the PDF manual look at page 26 of the PDF file for the AV section. This is the line that feeds the speed-sensitive-volume control.

Yep, that was it. Now the GPS knows how fast the truck is traveling. I am not sure what they use it for but when the vehicle is moving some of the Navi Setup options are grayed out.
So now I need some more help. Where on the Titan would I plug in the Parking Brake Sensor wire. I need to plug this green wire into the parking brake so I can watch video. When playing a DVD I hear the audio but there is no video. I assume it's because this wire is not connected. Again I cannot make heads or tails out of the service manual. Maybe somebody can tell me what page to look on for what I need.
Thanks again.

Connect the green wire to ground (the chassis) and you can watch video. They direct you to connect it to the parking brake so the video will only work when you are parked.
If you want to have control of when the video is on, get a normally open toggle switch at Radio Shack. Connect one side to ground and the other to the green wire. When the switch contacts are closed the video works, if they are open there will be no video.
