Loc Help

I am going to put an Alpine V12 for 2 pairs of the SPX-177A's and an Alpine Vpower for 2 JL 10's under the rear seat. I have a Peripheral SVEN4 and SVEN2 for both amps. I also purchased the NN03 & NN03R to preserve factory wiring. I plan on using 4 guage and split to 8 guage at the subs. My question is has anyone used two LOC's and did you splice into the rears for the sub so the subs would turn off when the DVD player is turned on . I have the DVD & RF. I have not quite figured out how to use two LOC's. I have only seen threads that use one. Any help would be great.

just use one (4 channel) and split the rear rca signal ( at the amp--not at the loc) to send to the sub amp. or your front stage amp--the v12 (if it is four channel) should have some rca OUT connectors so you can send a signal from there to your sub amp. if you are going alpine I would highly recommend you look into these

Alpine SPX-177R

a much cleaner 6.5 component set for only 215 a pair (retail $400)--you may have to build a wood baffle to fit it into the door location though, but that is easy enough--if you needs pics of what I am talking about let me know

good luck

Thanx for the advice. I had not thought of that. Would you not lose any sound quality because it is for low freq by spliting at the aftermarket amp? I went with the 177A's which is the model before the 177R's because they were only 140 per pair. I will have to check on the V12 for rca outs. Thank you again .
