I temporarily put a 4-channel amp under the rear seat (guess I cut the speaker wires about 2 ft too short to mount behind the seats on the rear wall). The infinity basslink does not fit too well under the seat. If you dont use any of stands it comes with, it still sticks out a couple of inches due to the angle of the seat. I will post a pic tonight. It does sound 100x better though. I notice I have to turn the bass down quite a bit than when it was installed on my last vehicle. I think I will upgrade to a more stealthy box when one is available (preferably behind the rear seats).
As for the wiring, it is quite simple. I got the scosche wiring harness and reverse harness (search for part numbers) which hooked directy to the factory wiring harness. I ran that into a line output converter (from davidone) and ran the wires along the side of the passenger side (had to take out the passenger seat (4-bolts, 5 min tops), under the carpet and rocker panel trim (there is a nice grooved area where the factory wiring runs).
Really nothing to it, just take your time and be careful not to break anything. Let me know if you have any other questions.
It is nice since the amp had a built high pass/low pass crossover, so I can direct all the bass to the basslink and leave the stockers free for mid/high frequencies. It really brought the stock tweeters to life. Though I will eventually replace them with a component set for the front and rear.
