If you do create another box illiminating the center space, you WOULD still keep the partition right? With two subs its always a good idea to keep the air spaces divided.

When I do build a second box, I will definetly elimiate the center space so to create more air space for the subs. Unfortunetely I think that still wouldnt create enough space for any larger subs. However it will help make the vol closer to the suggested space for the RF's I already have.

And yes I would definetly keep the air space seperate w/ a divider piece right down the middle.

You would have perfect airspace for a nice 12" JL/eD/RE. 1.3-1.5 cu.ft. is recommended for those subs.

A friend of mine has an eD e12a in 1.3 cu.ft. with 900W going to it... Yeah, it'll shake your eyeballs loose while providing clean, crisp bass... I'd go that route.
