Was curious if anyone had come up with an idea for a floor console for those of us with the bench style front seats. I've seen the threads on changing out the seat for a console, but not intersted in that. There's enough space on the floor for some kind of simple storage, especially since the fold out cup holders are garbage anyways.
Idk...on my old ford (didnt have cup holders) I just bought one of those storage things from autozone. It actually work pretty good. It was big enough to be useful but small enough to fit between the seat and the stick (M/T). It had a "carpet grabber" so it never slid around. The bench seat Titans have the seat back that folds down for storage and drinks. My old 08 had this and I thought the cup holder were OK. But yes, those fold out ones suck.
sorry should have specified, I also have a 11' with no storage in the fold down arm rest. I'll check out the cheapies, didnt think of that. And no power mirrors in the 11' S does suck.
Just found this on the bay, may give it a shot. IT's all I'm really looking for.
I did also find bench seat consoles in my search. They were alot pricer ranging from $40-$120. Alot of mixed reviews however. I'll stick with the cheapy for now.
You basically already have one of those in your truck already, it is under your center seat. Just un bolt the seat, tilt it back, and it is under there covering the airbag unit. Just unbult it, and you , have to trim the base to for the contour that you want but it will match your interior spot on, and it's free. I would put some velcro on the underside so it doesn't slide around.
