Under Body Lighting

Has anybody put an underbody light kit on the titan? Wondering where to get the power from? Is there anywhere in the fuse box that i can take power off for the lighting or shuld i run a direct line from battery?

Why do you want to turn your truck into a disco machine?

This is just my humble opinion. If I were to install a lighting kit I would take power directly from the battery and install a inline fuse 12" from the battery connection. Alternately you could tap into the constant 12 volts on the ignition switch wiring harness and again put a inline fuse no further than 12" from that connection. I assume you will want to mount a seperate switch for turning the lighting on & off. If so then I would order a factory switch like the tow mode switch and install it in one of your blank switch spots. You can simple rub the words tow mode off of the front of the switch. It would then look very custom. There is a rubber grommet in the firewall just above where the hood release cable runs thru the firewall. This can be used to run your wiring in& out of the cab. Also it's always good pratice to use electrical tape and wire harness loom to protect wiring and preventing shorts as well as opens. Hope you find some of this useful.

No Titan disco system would be complete unless you used one of the overhead compartments for a deployable sparkling disco ball!

Thanks everybody for your help just playing around with some lighting.
Inline fuse should be 12 ' from switch or actual connection to 12v

Go 12" (inches) from your 12v supply. all wiring past the fuse will be protected.
