I was showing off my truck to a co-worker and I was instructed to immediatly remove the pinstriping that was on my truck. I never noticed it before because the dealer put it on before I bought it. He wouldn't go into details on why I should remove it, he just said it would be better if it were gone.
Personally, I think it looks good.
What's the bad deal with pinstriping? Is it a racist thing? Is it a gang thing?
So, I have attached a picture. Do you think I should remove the pinstriping?
Keep it. I have the same color and I like the subtle pinstriping effect. My dealer also put it on and did not charge me for it. Haven't heard of any conspiracies on pinstriping .
Ahh, I voted YES before I looked at the picture. It actually compliments it nicely. When I first pictured the pinstriping, I imagined some 80's POS with makeup on it. I don't why I pictured that, but it affected my vote
But your Titan looks good with it actually.

Drew, Help me understand something here. Why in the whole wide world do you care what others think?
I think that the only opinion that matters here...is YOURS! (oh, and your wife's too, if you are married)

Never argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Dealer put mine on at no charge also and it kinda sets it apart and I've received good comments on it.
I'm keeping mine. It didn't get affected by waxing and is still holding nicely.

I just looked at your pole results and it is tied 9 to 9, therefore, I abstain because I don't want to cast a deciding vote and take a lot of crap like the state of Florida did a few years back.
By the way, did you vote in your own pole?

I voted yes for one reason alone ... the hack job paint and body shops use pin striping to make damaged cars look like fenders haven't been painted etc. The belief is "how could they have matched the pin stripe" (I have actually heard a used car place tell a customer that when asked if it was damaged)
Here is my reasoning for removing it: If you are not sure if you like it, now would be the time to take it off - considering that the paint under the stripe will not fade proportionately to the rest of the truck. That said, if you decide later you want to take it off - you might be left with permanent pin-striping in the form of mismatched paint fade. I am not 100% positive this would happen - but it's the reason I took all of my badging off as soon as I got my Titan. There is my 2 cents.

Just my 2cents: I think pinstripes on any vehicle needs to follow the lines of vehicle. Thats is impossible to do with titan with a pinstripe from front to back. I think that is why you see a lot of titan and armada pinstripes on just front and rear quarter panel and not doors.
