It's a glitch. All nav owners have it.

Basically it's leftover from the Armada, which has dual-zone climate control, and that is the display for it. It goes away by itself.

However, this has made me consider upgrading the A/C if possible to the Armada's. I don't see why it would be that hard since the computer for it is obviously in place.

Here is a pic of my truck doing it, but without the "Driver" and "Pass" but mine does that sometimes too.

For me, it is very rare to see the rainbows. I think it has happened maybe twice.

How do you like the NAV? I really like the option but I do not travel that much and wehn I do (family) I know how to get there. I sure would like to do the TV/DVD option to it! This is the one of the big reason to look at this option.

With the Honda Accord, I would definitely say that the NAV is worth it.

The Nissan....not so sure. It has some cool features, but the NAV part itself kinda really sucks. It is stuck in the dark ages. It needs a touch screen and a MUCH better search feature. The fact that you can't find the nearest "TGI Fridays" for instance and just have to search for american food in general, and try to sift through the lot is a pain. Your other option is to have it search for all TGI Friday's and it just brings them up in no particular order and it's up to you to figure out which one is closest. Also, having to pick your state each time is retarded. Why would I try to find a Burger King in California if my car is currently located in New York?

After seeing some of the aftermarket NAVs on here, I would say hold off on it, and get that AVIC N-1 or whatever. It looks to be much more useful than the factory NAV and you can watch vids on it.
