Hi, i just subscribed. i got an 07 titan xe. itook the dash apart and the bulbs look unreplaceable. theres no sockets for the lights. theyre just soldered on. how easy is it to unsolder old ones and solder new ones on the circuit board thing? i wanted blue leds but they look pretty hard to replace.
That's correct you will need to solder new led's where the existing ones are. It is not hard if you have a steady hand and some basic electronics skills. There are several write ups on the site. I have done everything but my gauges, but will be doing it soon since I need a new gauge plate. If you take your time you will be fine.

I love the pics JB put up with the blue LEDs in the dash but there is no freaking way I would try soldering new ones on. I would f it up and have to answer to wife and I have been married long enough to know better. Do places do this like specialty shops?

Not that I am aware of, there were a few people on the forum that were doing them. If you start with the switches and move to the ac etc you start to get the hang pretty quickly. If you are ever in central florida I could help you. It would take a couple of hours.

That is a hell of an offer. I wish there were people like you around Augusta or Atlanta.
I travel all the time for work so if i have an extended stay in ATL I will drop you a line. But seriously it is not that bad, I could help you remotely. Just start with the switches, that way if you screw something up a switch is pretty inexpensive.

Hey was wondering how to take odometer screen off of gauge circuit board? Also how to get black ring off of circuit board underneath each blower knob, heat knob and other knob of climate control. I'd appreciate some quick answers cause my dash is still apart. Thanks
I also saw that the bulbs under the climate control knobs are bigger and incandescent. What size of LEDs will I need for those? I couldn't find the write ups on how to DIY so that's how I got so many questions lol. My dash is all done except the odometer screen. Wondering how to get it off the circuit board. Thanks for the quick replies tho.
Sounds like you have a pre 08, which I don't. On mine I used the 1206's for everything in the AC control, but everything was an LED in mine.

I see ok thanks. I found where to get the 5 mm LEDs but where do you get the ones with the resisters attached? Do you solder resisters on LEDs? Or how does that work ? Thanks for the help. Still need to know how to get behind odometer screen. Saw Garzas instructions for cluster but he didn't include odometer screen removal. Instructions were very helpful tho.

The only ones with resistors in my t were the 2 rear window switches, and I just soldered some new ones on.
