Dash LED Swap Out

I'm looking to swap out all my LEDS in the cluster, ac controls, shifter, window switches...everything.

I've read lots of posts on the subject, but can't seem to find a complete list of which LEDS I need for each component. Can someone compile a list for me? Its a 2007 Titan SE. I need part numbers.

Its best to order extras just in case you drop one or one burns out, here is the count I got:

50x 3528 LEDs (PLCC 2) will need for the cluster, front windows switch, rear sensor/tow mode switch.
10x 3528 LEDs (PLCC 4) will need for the radio screen.
50x 1206 LEDs will need for the radio buttons, vdc/rear sensor/pedal adjustment switch, A/C buttons.
8x 5 mm LEDs / resistor 200-500 ohms will need for A/C knobs and rear windows.

you can get them here 0603 SMDs, 3mm LEDs, 5mm LEDs, 10mm LEDs, Wide Angle, PLCC2. I just finished all of mine except the cluster.

Oops wrong link LEDs - flexible LED strips, LED modules, 12v LEDs the above site is what JB told me about, but this is the one I get mine from.

Which "MCD" brightness do I need? some people say 1000 mcd, some say 600 mcd...I'm confused.

The white LEDs I used were marked as 1500-1800MCD, the blue LEDs were marked as 300-350MCD. I would say the brighter the better. Of course each color has has its own MCD range, for instance blue LED is going to have a lower MCD than a white. I'm not a LED guru but this is just what have noticed from ordering from different suppliers.

The places I ordered from didn't really give you an option, and I didn't have any problems. As long as you get the correct type "1206" etc you will be fine.

Yeah it didn't give me an option as well. I think only LEDs you can get in different MCD is the LED bulbs. Also I made a mistake on my MCD on my previous statement which I corrected.

this is the only site i get leds from now. I'll second JB's suggestion.

Only problem is they do not have all if the colors in the proper sizes. Haven't been there for over a month so that may have changed

Hi, i just subscribed. i got an 07 titan xe. itook the dash apart and the bulbs look unreplaceable. theres no sockets for the lights. theyre just soldered on. how easy is it to unsolder old ones and solder new ones on the circuit board thing? i wanted blue leds but they look pretty hard to replace.
