WTF is a hard anodized titanium magnesium cone? You can't anodize titanium or magnesium let alone a hard anodize, and you also can't blend them. Even if it's a laminate. It's probably just an aluminum cone with a big fat BS name on it.

Hey, I love Diamond's stuff. If you dont mind me asking what is the total bill for all of that? I do my own installs so the labor isnt an issue its just the parts. Just curious thanks for the info.

The Subs and Custom box was around $900. The speakers for the doors will be around $500. The Eclipse amp was $300 at www.woofersetc.com

That system should rock Lizard! Make sure you post the pics! Also, I would recommend a Capacitor for that big amp powering the subs. you will get MUCH cleaner more consistent bass. Also get a good amp wiring kit, interconnects, speaker wire and battery terminals. You can have the best equipment but it will suck unless you get good accessories. Here is a great web site for all that stuff http://www.cardomain.com/shop

This is my system I am getting installed after my road trip to Colorado this week. I finally have all the parts!

Rockford Fosgate 9220G Source Unit w/ MP3

MB Quart Premium 6.5" components for front doors (60-130W)
MB Quart Mid/Bass Drivers for back doors (60-130W)

Rockford Fosgate Power T8004 Multi-Channel Amp
200W Power Series 4-Channel • 400W Bridged / 800W @ 2 ohms • Remote Para-Punch Bass EQ

Two MB Quart 10" Premium Subs (400w RMS)

Rockford Fosgate Power T10001bd Subwoofer Mono Amp
500W Power Series • Class bd • 1000W @ 1 Ohm • Remote Para-Punch Bass EQ

Accessories:

Two Lightning Audio Strike LSD10DT-03 Stiffening Capacitor
Strike Series 1.0 Farad with Digital Monitor • Built-In Power Distribution System

Lightning Audio Storm SQ1/0 Amplifier Wiring Kit
1/0 Gauge / 1500W Power Kit • ANL Fuseholder • Fused Distribution Block

2 Sets Lightning Audio interconnects

2 Lightning Audio Strike LSBCMU2 Battery Terminals
Strike Series Platinum-Plated 1/4 Gauge Positive or Negative

Lightning Audio 12 Gauge Speaker Wire

I will post pics when complete!

That looks tight! You post pictures as well.. Can't wait to see your setup either. How did you only pay 1000 for all that? EBAY?

Does any manufacturer have a radio dash kit for the Titan? I tried Best Buy and Car Tronics locally and they said they don't make one yet.

What do you mean?

If you have the RF system and want to take it out and install an aftermarked source unit you can order the cover that goes on the non RF system.

Update- The custom box (downfiring) sounded like @#$%. As soon has we increased volume it sounded like a thud. We held box up with the subs facing the front and it sounded good...They have to redesign the box Tuesday. I will let you know what they find.

Come to find out you have to have a sub with high XMAX specs to be good at downfiring. The Diamond is only 18mm and the subs designed to do good at downfiring our around 23-30mm

hey lizard try this link out

http://www.partsexpress.com/resources/downfire.html

how much distance was left between the floor and the sub face?? I know that you need at least 1.5 so the air and cone can move

did they tell you why it sounded so bad??? how much volume per sub.

I only ask since I always heard that firing down was the better option in trucks so I am confused a little

We had about 1.5inches of clearance. We even tried to raise the box 2,3 inches with no luck and same result (bottoming out).
