aftermarket XM install locations

considering either the Roady2 or XMCommander. I'll put up another thread to debate the pros / cons of each.

I have an LE w/ the sunroof. I'm thinking that the panel where the sunroof controls are located would be a good spot. Problem is, I'm not sure that either unit will fit to one side of the sunroof controls since they are centered.

Has anyone done this? I've seen pics of one mounted inside the sunglass holder/cubby right below this. It would be REALLY cool if the sunroof switches could be somehow relocated toward the passenger side.

Advice and/or pics would be welcome.

Do it yourself - not that hard to do, other than if you want it in the console. I just bought a Roady 2 a few weeks ago and installed it all myself...attached to the dash where the 4X4 switch is (although I see you have a 4X4 so wouldn't work for you. The mount the Roady2 comes with will work multiple places depending on what you would like. I had thought about putting it up into the upper console by the map lights, but decided against it. Anyway, the Roady 2 is a great little unit.
