Magnetic XM Antenna + Mirror Compass?

I am installing XM into my Titan, and I've decided to mount a magnetic antenna near the third brake light, like others have done, but I was wondering if this affected the performance of the compass in the mirror.

No effect. The magnet in the antenna is much too small to bother the compass reading. I have an XM magnetic antenna mounted at the cab brake light. The mirror compass was calibrated before the antenna was installed. I have noticed no difference in compass reading since.
