Changing The Head Unit

I will replace my head unit soon. I have the stock system not the RF. I have not seen a factory amp. Does anyone know if there is amp with this system? I would hate to get into this project, and find out I need to bypass an amp.

The external amp is only used on the RF unit. The mid-line and basic configurations have amp stages inside the HU.
