King Cab Audio issues?

I'm almost done gathering the components for my upgrade

Amplifiers:
Profile CL600M
Profile CL640 ... very tight budget

Speakers:
Polk Momo MMC650 (rear doors)
Polk Momo MMC6500 (front)
RF stage 2 Punch 8" sub

I built the sub box to go under the passenger seat. Recommended volume for this sub was 0.15 - 0.35 ft^3. This box has 0.22 ft^3. Painted metalic black with 3 coats of clear. The sub is slightly recessed for seat clearance.

My questions are 1. how many of you guys are happy keeping the RF system HU? 2. To replace the head unit is there a stronger preference for 1 din or 2 din HU's? 3. Has anyone mounted an amp behind the rear seats of the KC?

Thanks for the help. This is a great forum for my novice audio abilities.

I prefer single din radios, but there really isnt much of a difference. There are some very indepth threads on amp installation however. Even pictures of amps on the back wall with narated descriptions of what it takes to remove panels/seats. Just do a search for the topic. Not sure about the rockford head unit, didnt have it in my XE but I installed a single din alpine, and I recommend alpine strongly. I am putting my 2 RF amps under my driver and passenger seats. I wont give up any additional storage space, and amps under seats are a whole lot harder to steal than amps on a back deck... Something to ponder.

Thanks Coug. I've seen several threads on mounting on the rear wall of the CC, but not the KC. I'm not sure if the CC has more room there or not.
