Got my wife a PhatNoise 20 gig for her VW Beetle. The software integrates without flaw. The unit is expandable up to 80 gig or so.
My buddy has Phatbox also. It's unbelievable. His is 80 GB. Works with the cars controls. It makes all of these external options that people are using look ridiculous.
Give it a look.

I am planning to get a MP3 player that is Audible compatible. If I buy a MP3 player and plug it into the AUX jack on my Titan, will the MP3 turn on and off when I turn the ignition of my Titan off? Also, will it resume at the same place where it left off? I would like to have a MP3 player that I would never have to touch any buttons while I am listening to a book. The only buttons I want to have to use are the on/off and volume on the steering wheel.
Thanks,
Robert
I have my 20gig IPod connected to the belkin charger/preamp on the lighter on the right side (live only with the ignition on) and it works great. The preamp gets the volume pumping through the aux port at an equal level to the CD player and when I turn off the ignition it automatically pauses my IPod because of the power going off of the right lighter. Plus charges the IPod while im driving. I want an MP3 player that specializes in playing music only. I love my IPod and the ITunes software for that.

Damn, that thing is expensive. Nice, but expensive.
Just FYI...I am selling (or trading) a BRAND NEW, never opened iPod Mini (4 Gig) player in the 4 sale section. I won it last week at my company meeting but have no use for it as I already have a 20 Gig RIO Karma.
I also have the Zen Xtra, I got the 30 gig for 191 back in November. It works fine for me, plenty of space, sounds great and when I use it in the truck I have no problems using the stock AUX input.

I have the 40 GB Creative Nomad Zen Xtra and it beats the crap out of Ipods in sound quality and price. The only advantages of the Ipod are that there are integration adapters that tie into Alpine HU and they do look cool. But if you plan on using it a lot, in two years the Ipod will be useless as you can't replace the battery as you can in the Creative products. I stress that the sound quality of the Zen in noticably better than the Ipod! In car/house comparison through high quality amplification. Plus you can get 40 GB storage for price of 20 GB of Ipod. Either way it is a personal preference.

It is possible to change the battery in a ipod. Do a google search for ipod battery. It may not be as easy but it is possible.
