Wow, I didnt even see the Nissan emlem and Titan in the box. I'm on my laptop and the screen was tilted where I didnt see it...

Thats really cool looking, someone should make a speaker grille that is a big nissan emblem, I bet they would sell a few. Especially if it was chrome like a big emblem...

The more I see the dash screens, the more I want one, still tossing the idea of a fiberglassed pod at the top, somewhat like the factory nav...

I want/need to do this, but I am worried about the seat holding up under a crash or soemthing if the weight is attached to only 8 or nine bolts. I have to pull out some of my statics books to calculate the streesses to make sure my rear passengers would be okay

I am not a structural engineer but did study aerospace engineering (which includes some structures and mechanics or materials work) and suggest that raising your seat (or in anyway altering the safety equipment in your vehicle) is rather dangerous. We have no idea of the safety margin designed into the attachment points, the forces presented in a collision nor how the bolts react under the increased moment arm of the raised seat. Personally I would find another solution but that is just me (my sub box nicely fits under a single stock rear seat but I am sure does not respond as well acoustically) =)

Safety is a factor...I used all grade 8 bolts/nuts in which I believe Nissan doesn't. I used longer bolts that actually thread longer then the original bolts did. I don't suggest anyone do this. The King Cab is really designed in my book not to have passengers back there anyway. Guy's thats a tough call you will need to make individually, alot of modded trucks are designed with looks and not safety in mind. Be careful in whatever you do...
