Power Window Up Modual

Ok, I had them send me this box to roll the windows up with the key fob...

None of the options in the instructions match the wires I have...

Anyone have this installed yet?

If I could see where the wires go into the plug on a G35 or 2002 up maxima I'd be able to figure it out. I guess I might search a maxima site?

Any help would be appreciated...

4/5 match up to the Maxima diagram...

Box Titan
Black - Black
Red - White/Red
Yellow - White/Blue
Blue - Grey wire in door panel

its the damn green wire, the maxima says orange/black, so i tried the orange which operates the auto up for the driverside, no luck, so I tried what I thought could be mistaken for orange with a black stripe, red/black to me, no luck...

well I'm pretty certain the orange/black is actually red/black...

the grey I had just goes to the power mirrors, so I'm thinking that is my problem...

the instructions for G35's and 350Z's said something about a purple wire behind the speaker, I removed the speaker to make sure it wasnt that easy...

I've determined with a test lite that the box should be getting power, I just need this blue wire, lock actuator to hook up. I've tired the solid purple in the door and the green/yellow...

Lock actuator, it must be one of them that run across to the lock actuator, but wich frickin one?

OK well i just finished my install and everything went well.
heres the wires
box.................titan
red.................white w/red stripe (one of 2 wires in a plug to power window controls)
black...............black (2nd wire on the above listed plug)
yellow.............white w/blue stripe
found on the main plug that enters the power window controls, not the one with only 2 wires on it, this plug has many but it is not the power window plug.
blue................blue
this is located in the main plug that plugs into the power window controls. (same plug as the wire that has the white w/blue stripe in above plug) there are 2 blue wires right next to each other in the plug. with the windows down ground each of these wires. one does nothing and the other will lock the doors and then the windows will roll up. this is the wire you need to connect to the blue wire from the box
green.............purple
this is located in a group of 4 wires that lead to the lock assembly and the only wire that is not found on the two plugs listed above.
good luck
let me know if you have any questions

Here are some dumb questions, does the door have to be closed for this to work? Does it work just like the unlock/roll down? <- meaning do you just hold the lock button and you'll hear it click to start rolling the windows up?

Thanks in advance, I'll keep trying things, they said I'd need an ohm meter or some kind of contraption to test the box to see if I fried it, do you have any other ideas/ways I might be albe to test the box to see if I fried it?

Thanks again!!

Still no luck, would it matter if you have a king cab and I have a crew?

How did you figure it out in the first place?

Maybe my box is fried...

I have located the correct blue wire (the smaller of the two) with the method you suggested, but I still cannot get it to work...

ARGH

IF, you have connected all of the wires correctly in the way i stated above everything should work. i just checked and it does work with the doors open. make sure that you have the power window controlls plugged in when you try it. to operate the windows up you have to push the lock button twice once right after another. this part is kinda weird.....if you push it twice too fast it wont recieve the second push and it wont work. on the other hand you do have to push it fairly rapdily. stand by the door and when you push it twice you should hear the door actuator lock twice and then if you did it correctly you will hear it activate once more and then the windows will go up. its kinda tricky but once you do it it will all make sense.
let me know if you need anything else

I think my box is busted, or fried...

It still gets extremely hot when I've got everything hooked up and I'm trying to make it work, I think I'll have to send it back

i have a crew cab too so that doesnt make a differance. check all of your wiring again......make sure that blue wire is the one that when grounded rolls your window up. also make sure you used the redw/white stripe for positive and black for negative, and the white with the blue stripe for your 12v ignition switch. test that purple wire coming off of the door lock motor and make sure you get current when you hit the lock button on your key fob for a split second. i am not trying to say you are doing anything wrong but after i had mine working i went to actually install it by running the wires with the existing factory wires and i switched the blue and green wires. so check and recheck and make sure your power window controlls are plugged in and then just push the lock button twice with a short pause in between.
good luck

Thanks for the ideas and answers, I'll re-check everything again before I close it back up...

Did you ever notice your box getting hot?
