Making my XE more like an SE

so far all i have done is "chrome" door handles, mirror covers(easy swap on both), chrome grill(thanks titan4x4aggie!), and window tint to make up for the lack of privacy glass.

IMO it looks alot better now, even though i do not have a before and after pic...

next visual mod will be some kind of wheel/tire combo, and i will also install power locks in the near future.

let me know what you guys think!

Looks good. The chromo billet grille looks a lot better on the top part rather than having the chrome on the top and bottom part like the se and le. Once you get rid of those steel wheels it will look really nice.

I like it...I like how just your grill is chrome and not underneath the grill(where the tow hooks are placed). I would agree that you definitely need some new wheels though. Nice work.

Hope to get similar effect by using chrome grille inserts from Dunder23
- waiting on PTFE sealer to apply both sides before install.

Got non-chrome for lower bumper insert have painted flat black.

So will have 3 chrome inserts above, 1 black insert below.

Putting aluminum window screen behind inserts to catch insects, esp. on
longer drives - keep out of radiator fins.

arkman0 approach would have been another option - using 3 black inserts
in grille area - so not so much chrome look.

Looks really good arkman0 !

Where did you get the door handles and how much. How easy were they to install.
