Diamond Audio Vs. JL Audio
I currently have Diamond Audio tweeter speakers and 12" subs in my Tahoe, I loved them until the friggen rear speaker blew (probably due to underpowered amp) and my subs quit hitting hard. Everything is under warranty and I'm hoping that somehow I can talk them into putting the replacements into my '05 titan when I get it. If not I may have to save up for a new system. Any opinions on which brand is better, Diamonds or JL? Thanks- Chris

Diamond Audio without a doubt...JLAudio can be had just about anywhere and there speakers/amps/subs are far less superior. I know at least three different companies that have dropped JL for Diamond due to quality. Most of the professionals at www.the12volt.com will tell Diamond all the way. JLAudio warranty is from 90days to 1year where Diamond Audio is 3years if bought from a authorized dealer..

jl w7 or w6v2, other than those lines the diamonds
the jl woofers are kind of hard to work with due to their size though but the diamonds are very nice sounded units though |

If you want solid sound and reliability go with Diamond or Eclipse.

Eclipse, Diamond, Precision Power, and Rockford Fosgates new Power line would be a good choice.. If you can go with Eclipse amps...Really great specs.

tru, pg titanium series (not xenon or tantrum), and old school soundstream reference have a fidelity to them that is only matched by todays extreme high end amps

Thanks for the input. I haven't really looked into Eclipse products, I think I'll do some research on them. They seem to be pretty popular, anyone know how long their stuff is under warranty? The thing that sells me on the Diamonds is their warranty, I'd be screwed without it(already had the system for a year and a half). Thanks for the help - Chris

JL no doubt.......i have 2 10w6v2's (amp 500/1) eclipse 6x9's (300/2) and an eclipse head unit and it sounds good. The eclipse 6x9's sound really good but i blew the first pair in a week, but that could be cuz the jl amp is sucha badass. But they replaced them without even complaining. And the head unit is unbelivable for the price....Elcipse is like the girlfriend you had that didnt really look all that great but could....well you guys can finish it
