Kenwood DDX 7015 AND XM

For those of you wondering if the module is out yet it is! I just installed the XM module to my Kenwood with no problems. Best buy carries the supplies needed. Crutchfield still don't have stock. The module plugs into the aux port of Kenwood and the interface module plugs into the XM universal box.

I’m very interested in the DDX8017! Are the menus on the unit tailored for Sirius? I tried the ddx8017 out at the local audio store and the menus appeared to be specific for Sirius, not XM. I have XM now and would like to continue to use it. Do you have any pics of your install?

It is specific to Sirius. The only thing you lose going with XM is the Channel Search functionality. Had XM and now have Sirius. Both are great.

I was going to do that instead of sirius, but didn;t want to loose the search function
