That's correct. The install was pretty simple and took about 1.5 hours. Here's how it goes as I remember it...
1: Remove OE grill by turning the plastic screws 1/4 turn. I think that there were four across the top of the grill under the hood and four at the bottom of the grill between the bumper and grill. Accessing the bottom ones will require a long and small flathead screwdriver.
2: Unsnap the black plastic insert away from the chrome or painted outer grill. Use a pry bar carefully as not to break the tabs. You'll need to reinsert it later.
3: Cut out all of the mesh openings. I used an air saw but a jig saw would also work. Doing it by hand would take too long. Once it's all cut use a file or some sand paper to clean up the rough edges.
4: Insert the plastic insert back into the outer grill shell.
5: Install the Grillcraft grill mesh and screw into place. Push mesh panels back as far into the grill shell as they will go. DO NOT REINSTALL INTO THE TRUCK YET!
6: While the grill is out, place the lower grill in and mark the mounting hole locations. Pull the grill out and drill the holes out.
7: Install lower grill with the upper grill still out of the truck. This is easier than taking off the skid plate especially since you already have the upper grill out of the truck.
Turn the plastic screw back into their original position on upper grill and snap it back into place.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I give this mod about a 3.5. It was real easy to do and looks great. It's also available in chrome and a blinged-out mesh version will be out next year.
