Question guy, can the rear audio controls in the crew cab still be used with this radio? Like does the DVD option in the rear work with this stereo?

The only way i could hook up the rear audio controls is to use SXI-X (steering wheel controls) for the controls in the back. If you wanted to use the DVD player just run the RCA's to the back of the headunit. I did not use the rear audio controls i have wireless head phones that have volume control on them.

Here are a few stupid questions. I hope to be installing this in the spring. Where do you guys hide the cable for the headrests?

Does this HU use a seprate control module for the Navi and DVD?

The back of the seat has a seam that can be opened up and the wire run through there. The seam I went through is on the inside edge of back seat.

You need to take the plug off the end of your monitor and fish it through the hole in your head rest post. After that you solder it back on and run it through your seat. The head unit has nav capability but it's an extra module. It's a DVD rom that mounts under a seat. You can actually buy the 7015 and nav together now as a package.

For the guys that have installed the 7015...

I'm getting ready to buy/install one...possibly this weekend. Besides the XE bezel, what other hardware (mounting bracket, wire harnesses, etc.) is needed? I want to get everything so I'm not running back and forth to get stuff. I'll just be connecting it to the factory speakers for now. Any info is greatly appreciated...thanks.

The factory moutning brackets work just fine... Only harness you need is the Nissan Metra harness. I can't remember the part # but's for 1995-up Nissan's. I'm pretty sure the last four are 7550. Search forum there are plenty of links to it.
