Going to install a better qaulity 1/0 gauge power wire and ground (more wire strands). I will attempt to install 1/0 gauge ground wire for battery and frame to help with any flickering light issue..

so lizard your lights dim under heavy bass notes I assume?? where are you running your 1/0 wire at? I drilled on the passenger side for my 4 ga, so I may just buy a larger bit to fit the 1ga through it..
I will be grounding to the existing grounds on the battery to the frame and engine. I figure I will start there first.. Yes, I get dimming lights very slight but I do when I have heavy bass notes.

so you are doing the big three also--yep that is my next trick also
I swear you would think witha 130a alternator, and a 770cc battery there wouldnt be any of these issues.
where are you getting your wire and ring terminals from??
I get mine from knuconceptz.com but I am going to try some welding 2/0 cable for my grounds and power as I can get it local for less than 1.70/ft and supposedly it is better to work with than standard audio power wire-well see though
fyi the knuconceptz is over 5000 --you may want to return it. the added wire only makes it more flexible not more conductive
not a bad price for precrimped lines though. the knu set is like 69 I think plus 7 shipping, but you have to crimp your own lines
my current power line is 20ft,and I just make it to the back, is 18 ft long enough?? maybe I have routed wrong
and to do the big three you are going to need abother 10ft or so, at least that is waht I calculated--but that doesnt mean a whole lot as I tend to over estimate.
I always thought and heard the more wires the more current flow that's why high current lines have so many strands and are huge. I already ran the power wire and have it wrapped under hood for tomorrow.. It's more then long enough, I will run it to my distribution block where I have 4gauge running to the amps and cap...

Same location as before just drilled it out bigger 3/4". Went just next to the hood latch cable where there was already a hole with a rubber grommet covering it up. Isn't the bigger the wire/more strands the more current the amp can draw? This is what I have always known and found on audio websites.

no you are right on the more strands more current line--just saying that while the knu wire had more strands than the stringer--once it is labeled 1/0 ga ( based upon it standardized current capacity) more strands will only make it more flexible--sorry for the lack of clarity
cool one runnign the wire I guess I have to go buya new drill bit
I installed the new power cable today and ran out of time for the ground upgrade! Will start that this week sometime and hopefully will go as smooth as today went!
