I'd like to see a picture of the dash (head-on from the back seat) and the rear "bib" on the tailgate. I've been debating on putting some silver paint on mine.
1BadTitan: He modified that one from a ford. It came in two pieces (front and back) and you remove the factory material to the metal wheel. Use foam to fill in between the two pieces and epoxy the front and back together. Use a little filler to smooth and then paint and cover the rest of the wheel in material.
SarkaZm: As soon as it stops raining I will take the pics. The "bib" painted on the tailgate made a big difference. I don't like plastic on my truck, so I had that and the wiper cowl. He just smoothed them down and used a "plastic promoter" before he sprayed the primer. Primed, based, and cleared. One thing to pay attention to is the clips on the backside. When painted, it will show a ding (looks like a small hail dent) on the painted plastic. This is from the clip that holds the piece. Whoever paints it, make sure he smooths off the plastic and puts a "fake" clear on so he can use a plastic filler to smooth off the dent from the clip.
Sweet truck davedyer79 ! May i ask if the graphics on the side of your truck are painted or stick-on graphics? They look great and I wanted something similar to break up the lines on my white KC.
Thanks !

Some more pics.
SarkaZm: I hope these are the pics you wanted. I also included a closer shot of my tailgate as you requested. Made a big difference on cleaning up the rear end.
sikeout007Titan: Those are just the vinyl flames so if in the future I wanted to change I wouldn't need a new paintjob.
I also included the latest pics of my amprack. I was working on it before I got the shock of my life, and I was able to sneak around this weekend and finish it. It will house my 2 amps and cap and be mounted on the back wall.

Thanks for posting the pics davedyer79, yes it is what I was looking for. The interior paint is awsome. I would have to say it's a step above the stick on dash kits! How is it for keeping clean, does it get a lot of finger prints? The painted rear bib looks a lot better too. What is your surround for the amp rack made from, fiberglass? I have to say you've had some top notch work done to your truck..definately one of a kind! Good Work
SarkaZm: The dash is pretty easy to keep clean. I shows dust a lot better than the rest of the dash, but I keep one of those "fibercloths" in my console and it is supposed to clean and polish at the same time. About once a week I will wipe the dash, takes about 2 minutes to do the dash and all doors. I think it was well worth it to get the look the truck has. About the fingerprints, I haven't noticed any yet, but I don't have any kids yet. The paint has the same quality's as the outside paint. The surround on the amprack is made of fiberglass. I covered my amps with plastic and stretched a sheet over them and the base board. I resined the sheet and put 2 layers of glass. It was a quick way to finish the rack without a lot of frame construction.
phillipyang: It is a little more complicated than that. I didn't actually paint the pieces, Heritage Customs did. It looked fairly simple. I have painted a lot of fiberglass boxes, ampracks, and other stuff in college and it was fairly simple. The most time comes to prepping, making the surface ready to paint. All surfaces need to be scuffed for the primer to bind to, then most plastics require a plastic promoter. Then comes the primer. I use a good high build polyester primer, because it covers up pinholes from bondo and slight imperfections. Sand the primer until smooth and all the blemishes are covered and you are ready to paint.
Then you need the proper tools. Good compressor with regulator, dryer. Paint gun with misc. tips for spraying the thick primer and then the very thin base-clear coat. If the project is big, a good air mask and possibly a suit. If your in a bigger town the primer and paint should be readily available, along with the gun and all the other tools. My friend went to autobody school and has shown me some tricks, but I picked up the rest by trial and error or by researching on the net.
I would recommend you to go for it. Just train yourself on things that aren't very expensive. I have been painting small things for a few years now and the pieces on my Titan scared the crap out of me to paint. I couldn't have done the job they did. I think if I had more time to practice with different material and methods I can, and so can you. You weren't born walking, you taught yourself!!
dman: A real gentleman never discloses such things. PM me and I will let you know.
Thanks for all the compliments, I appreciate them. I will continue to post when I do more to the stereo setup.
As stated in the pictures thread, I am selling my Titan. I really need a 4X4. If anyone is interested, please let me know. This is a really trick Titan, and the quality of the work done is great. I can post pics of window sticker from dealership and pics of reciept from Heritage Customs. Probably be asking around $28500.00obo.
