What do you guys think of my Titan? I was going to wait to post pics when I get finished with my stereo system, but my wife said we might be expecting out first child, so the stereo can wait!! Mods on the outside are totally debadging the truck, painting the tailgate piece, wiper cowl, and grill factory galaxy black. After that, the Centerline's were put on along with the JBA exhaust, K&N FIPK, and the small vinyl flame to add a little something to the black. The inside is where everything went crazy. The seats and door panel inserts were covered in charcoal leather with crocidile inserts flamed with orange stitching. A few of the interior pieces were taken out and painted to match the truck. Future mods are headers and to get the stereo system working. I have all the equipment, just can't find time finish the box and dash piece. The equipment is the Alpine IVA-D300 in dash 7-inch, 2 sets of Memphis MCSQ 6.5 (Memphis Multi-Sync 6.5 component set), 2 10" SVC power refrence subs, a 500D and 100x4 AB amp, 1 FARED cap with a memphis EQ.
Please let me know what you think. David
Desert Titan: Yes, they scuffed them with 80 grit paper and put some type of primer on them and let it "shrink" for a day or so. Then they used a base coat, clear coat on the primer, buffed and installed. Only took them a few hours besides the primer. I don't know much about paint and body, so it might be just normal primer. I let the guy do all the work, so I don't know how much just the dash pieces were. I am sure any body shop can do this.
tmoran: The owner of Heritage Customs in Grapevine Texas. His name is Tom Bassett. His phone number is 817-310-0049. He has done quite a few vehicles for Regency Conversions and Choo-Choo. Does a very good job, and he listens to what you want instead of telling you what looks cool to him.
Looks good, any pictures of the back end and more of the dash? What kind of paint is that, looks like you painted the B pillars too? Did you remove the tape that was on them. Very high quality work...must have cost some bucks
I will post some more pics of the back and interior as soon as it stops raining, if that ever happens. Where in the interior specifically do you want pics. No, the B-pillars still have the dull black tape on them. I was very impressed with the work, and it did not cost as much as I thought it would. I have always rubbed off the rubber or leather on top of the steering wheel on my other vehicles, so I wanted something more permanant for the steering wheel. Morpheoussc400, I listed all the info on where I had the work done above on this post. Tom Bassett is very cool and does quality work. I would recommend him to anyone.
SmokenTitan, I live in Hugo, OK. It is on the Southeast corner of the state, about 12 miles from the Texas border. Love Oklahoma. A little slower than most other places, but that is how I like it. Got tired of the city atmosphere. Please keep the replys coming. Thanks for all the compliments so far.
