I finally got around to installing my 1/0 gauge ground wires installed on battery, chassis and engine...What a differenc in my sound the bass is hit's harder and no more engine noise.

Lizard - where did you get the wire and at what points did you install, or did you replace existing ground wiring? Engine noise on my new system is driving me nuts.
I left the factory ground installed. I installed my ground at the same points as the factory ground. One to the chassis and the other to the engine and I used 1/0 gauge 4700 strand wire. I bought my wiring from Cructchfield.

did you ever find the alternator power line post on the block??
If you take a flashlight and look straight down, just forward of the oil dipstick, you can see the alternator power connection (B post) which is covered by red plastic. The alternator power cable runs upwardly in a grey corrugated plastic sheath.
The alternator is grounded directly to the block by its mounting bracket.

What did you use for connectors? I'm somewhat of a wiring rookie, and would like to know the best way to go. At Crutchfield, I saw 8mm gold plated connectors (the hole is 8mm). Is that what you used?
Also, is it really necessary to get 1ga wire? I would have figured that 4 would be enough, but again, I'll defer to any expertise here, as I'm fairly inexperienced.
Interesting concept. Don't think would pay price unless Titan-specific kit.
Currently 'S-Type' for many Nissans.
Though also see stated:
S-type – will fit most 4 cylinder and V6 small to mid-size vehicles
M-type – will fit most inline 6 and V8 mid to full-size vehicles
M-Type specified for the Tundra.
Only can find that 10x less impedance than factory ground, 'thick' gauge, 1477 strands 99.99% copper per cable. Cannot find gauge 'in print'.
Guess part of effectiveness the multiple-point grounding.
I did my battery to chasis/chasis to block today with 1/ga wire and a new battery terminal, and four crimp ring terminall
I can post pics if you want. fyi the alternator + and negative post are right next to each other under the passsenger fender well. they are extremely hard to get to. you have to jack the car up and go around the main frame. the alternator is ground to chasis under the battery plastic plate. you pull the battery out to find the end of the ground signal right under the plastic peice. I think it is e209 in the manual
didnt get to finish as I started to late--maybe next weekend

I'd like to see pics - again, what terminals are you using? How big do the holes need to be?
