Navigation and DVD Question

2004 LE King
Does the satellite radio stations come up on the navigation system or a separate screen?
The dealer has no idea why my truck has a dvd player under the passenger seat, plus does not know if I can install a screen. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Don

The Nissan SAT radio displays on the NAV screen.

So you have the NAV DVD player under the passenger seat, but do not have a NAV screen? Does the original window sticker for the truck list the NAV option?

The sticker did not have the dvd, but the player is under the passenger seat (connected to wiring). The overhead has two places that look to be for a screen, but no screen. I inquired about having a screen installed, but they seem to have no idea what to do (completely new overhead and components, or just a screen). I left the dealership with the feeling they did not know what to do, or how to do it. I will definitely get the satellite radio, as I did not want a separate screen.
Thanks for the help,
Don

It is really strange what you are describing. My guess is that you have the nav unit under your seat since technically the DVD player isn't even an option on a King Cab. That being said, neither scenario makes much sense. I don't blame the dealer for being confused...that is just weird. It would be really sweet if all the wiring and computers were in place for nav and all you needed was a screen.

That is strange. The DVD played under the pass. seat is definately for a Nav System. It sounds like they or someone ordered the truck with the Nav System, changed their mind and when the dealer told the manufacturer they removed the screen and forgot about the player.

I would....

Go buy the screen and bezel and enjoy nav for 1/2 price or less
