Question SWI-X Resistor size (color code)

Help - Im installing the SWI-X and need a little help decoding the colors on the resistors? I need the 47 and 150 colors can someone help?

Also when you installed your head unit how did/do you get the faceplate to sit flush, right now mine sits about 1/4 inch to far back, I know Im doing something wrong here, but just cant figure it out - any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I would solder them if it where me... I solder all my electrical connections no matter what I work on. It's a habit from being a Mechanic and I require all my Tech's to solder especially since we work on over the road equipment.

I'm thinking the connector should only have three wires.

I wouldn't solder it directly inside the pin body, just in case you decide to trade it off later, might be a nightmare to undue later. I would just strip back the wire insulation a tad and solder that and then tape it up...

Question Still Not Sure

OK now you got me worried!
I think that I have found the connector that is referred to in the PAC install directions but it says a 24 pin plug and lizardking mentioned three wires - I searched for the service manual posts but could not find it anymore (is it still available on line?) Could someone please post page AV-26 of the service man?

Also if anyone who has done this can confirm that the plug Im looking for is 24 pin, the wires are green/with silver and the red wire, to these I connect the resistors and then the resistors get connected together and to the white wire on the PAC. if you rememeber maybe you could also mention the other colors of the wires on that plug - Im sorry Im asking so much but I dont want to cut until Im really sure.

Thanks again,

I believe its the white pin that once you pull off the face it is the small connector that is almost like a computer IDE cable connected to the green pcb board--make sense??

from the pac directions

IM still confused on the how to get the resitors on the connector so Im waiting until monday to call pac to get some help

I believe the connector is labeled m24

I know which plug you are talking about, but from the pic that PAC included and what they state - it is a 24 pin connector. So I dont think thats the right one. I have sent out a couple of more request for info on which one I think it is and when I figure it out I will post pics and maybe a wire diagram.

Im also confused about how to wire in those resisters, Im going to radio shack tomorrow and see if they can shed some light on the matter. Let me know what PAC says when and if you talk to them.

Thanks,
