audio system advice

In building my system, I decided to cut a couple corners and now I'm having to go back and correct the errors.

1) Profile amps - not bad, but not real good either. Thinking about Kicker 600.1 and 650.4 or PG Xenon 600.1 and 100.4

2) RF P2 8" sub - need more bottom end. I am building another box to go under the read seats and house 2 10" subs(up facing), 2 midbase drivers (forward facing) and a monoblock amp (as long as the dimensions are less than 18.5" X 11.5 X 3.5. I am looking at Elemental Design 11KV2 and Polk Audio MM2104. Each sub will have 0.59 ft^3.

Need opinions or other ideas. The 4 channel sub will need to be 2ohm stable as I will be presenting that type of load from the rear speakers.

All ideas welcome. Still on a budget, but this time I will do it right.

The Memphis 1100 watt into 1 ohm is a powerhouse that can be bought for around $500. It has all the featurs you would want in a sub amp.

Thanks Smoke. That's the way I'm leaning. Any input on the Nine.1 amp? Good, bad, ugly?

I've heard good things about the memphis amps. Thanks King. The advice I'm looking for is just opinions and options. I want to know how your experience with these products has gone. My bottom line is I don't want to have to go back and replace components of my system again. Doing it this once is bad enough.

I feel you on that!! That's why I decided to go with Eclipse subs and Diamond full range speakers. I also went with Eclipse amps and the best DVD deck out there. I hate to 2nd guess myself so I decided to spend the extra money.. I'm really interested in SQ not SPL.

Kicker is notorious for under-rating their amps. That 600.1 will propably be more like 900 watts X 1 ch @ 2 Ohm. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the input. I've got two 11KV2's and a Nine.4 amp comming. eD rated this amp 50X4 @10.5 V. Thier technician told me it will be 75X4 @14.4V...should fit my needs for powering the main speakers.

Still undecided now between Kicker and eD Nine.1. I was really wanting something with topside controls (for ease of access). But the Nine.1 looks so good, I may sacrifice that.
