LE RF head-unit question

Hi, I am in the process of installing an Alpine IVA-D300 in my truck and have hit a snag. I disconnected the neg. terminal first, removed the factory radio, and reinstalled my new deck. However, I now notice that my memory seat no longer functions. Does anyone have any idea if there is a "memory seat fuse" that may have blown, or does the OEM Panasonic deck control the memory seat function? All of the other items in the truck seem to function perfectly - compass, power seats, climate control, c/c, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Since no one was able to offer any advice, I purchased an on-line subscription from http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissan/ for one day and downloaded the entire service manual to do some troubleshooting. It seems that in the process of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery terminal, the CAN (Controller Area Network) had ceased to function properly. I removed the battery terminal again and let the vehicle sit for several minutes, reapplied power, and the memory seat function returned. I have noticed, however, that the memory seat functionality seems a bit flaky-sometimes it functions, other times it does not, but I am not the only one experiencing those issues.
