Amazing how many people on this board can take the time to boot up a computer, launch a browser, log on to the TT site, and type thier posts when all they needed to do was read one page of their owner's manual.
There is no index listing for it in my manual. When I was first setting the radio functions I saw the SSV come up but had no idea what it was. Only after going through the entire radio section did I finally find something on it. I'm not sure the manual even states what SSV is an acronym for.

dfisher; Amazing how "you" would take the time to boot up your computer, launch your browser, log on to the TT site, just to insult someone who is on a forum for the purpose of information about the subject of the forum. My wife had our titan, which is where the manual was located. I guess i should have waited until she got home and went outside in the middle of the night to get it and read about my problem, huh. If you don't like my future posts, to damn bad!! Please feel free not to waste your time by responding then.

I have also noted some things are not in the manual.....for instance...the difference between 4 wheel green or yellow colored lights???? Neither color is listed??......or I had too many Bass Ales while reading my manual...that is where asking someone here well...usually helps.!!! Sometimes folks here know what the dealers and manual don't know....and that is valuable to me....like when you shift from 4 low to high and then 2 wheel and the bleeping lights just keep blinking....I found that if the lights don't clear if I just put the shifter to reverse then back to neutral and drive it has always cleared up the confused computer......hope this helps others with the same issue.......Peace-Tom

I have noticed that some time the book is kind of confusing and you can get an answer in straight talk here. Questions only seem stupid to those who know the answers.

I never said the question was stupid...merely that it fascinates me how many people on this board don't read the manual that came with their truck. Personally it was the very first thing I did, in fact it's the first thing I do for every piece of machinery I own -- from a 12" Miter saw to a $92,000 high definition video camera. I completely understand that people have questions based on things that aren't covered in the manual, it's a logical solution to turn to fellow owners for those types of questions. However, I personally would be embarrassed to ask a mundane question that I should have already known because it was in the book that came with my $25k+ piece of machinery.
I'm wasn't flaming anyone by posting my original commentary, merely stating an observation on the irony of using a uber-gigantic information source such as the Internet to answer a question that's covered in two sentences on a piece of paper.
I’m sorry if people were offended by my editorial comment on today’s crazy world.
My money is on High-Definition home-made movies that are sexual in nature.
Splain in redneck, please.

I'll do my best...
Say there is this guy who likes Neckcar, errr Nascar, and he has this really hot cousin with buck teeth. This guy just can't get enough of her and starts getting all frisky and finally jumps her bones. Before he jumped her bones he set up a handy cam in his closet. That's a home-made movie of sexual nature.
Now if it was made with a $92,000 high-definition camera that would be SWEET!
