if you don't have a preference, you can brand match the amp. mono means one channel so look for one of their amps that puts out around 1200wx1channel@1ohm. you can put a lil less or lil more, up to you.

parallel wiring means connecting all the positive terminals together, and negative to negative. series wiring means connecting one positive of one voicecoil or one sub to the negative of another vc/sub and then to the amp.
if you are going with the parallel-parallel wiring, you need to do the following
- connect the positive terminals of each voicecoil (on each sub) together, choose one of these positive terminals on each sub and wire to the positive side of the amp
- connect the negative terminals of each voicecoil (on each sub) together, choose one of these negative terminals on each sub and wire both subs to the negative side of the amp
when the power supply of an amp is unregulated, it means the power output will also be unregulated. therefore if your vehicle's electrical system is weak (ie less than 12v normally) then power output will be lower than quoted. if you make it stronger, you can get even higher output. for the most part, just get a regulated amp if you are new to this.
as for classes, not really up on it. basically a/b, d and i guess x now. it's about how the amp is normally off and always on. a/b is good for cabin speakers. d for bass, maybe x too. but you can use a/b for bass too.
