Audio Install Questions

OK so I recently purchased my mids and highs and my 5 channel amp, and now I am ready to do the install. My question is how hard would the install be? Below is what I ordered (I will buy my subs and box at a later time):

1. VR650 CSI 6.5" Components Front Speakers and Dash
2. VR650 CXI Coaxial Rear Door Speakers
3. Kicker 700.5 5 channel Amplifier to run everything

Do I need to have trim rings made to adapt 6x9 fronts to fit 6.5", will they just fit, or can I order premanufactured adapters?

Does anyone have instructions to remove door panels to get to speakers?

How did some of you mount your amp, and run your wires?

Thanks guys and gals I appreciate any insight you can give me!

Scott,

bestatchess posted this for door panel removal, post #4 on this thread:

Stereo installation

He also has done extensive work on this sort of thing and has posted photos.

Search and ye shall find.

Good luck, I'm thinking of embarking on the same project myself.

Your going to need adapters for the front speakers. Mounted my 5 channel amp against the rear wall of my crew cab in the middle of the seats.
I ran the power cable through an existing grommet hole next to where the hood release goes through the firewall. The speakers ran the other side of the cab through the existing wire tracks in the floor along the doors. Use a coat hanger or fishtape to pull the wires through.
