Need some box advice

I need some advice the on wheter I can fit a sub under the back seat of my KC and still retain all seat functions

Diameter 12.5"
Cutout 11.125"
Depth 7.25"
Volume feet 0.15 cubic
Weight 39 pounds
0.7 to 1.5 cubic feet needed for a sealed box

do you think it would be possible?

too deep. you need asub wiht NO MORE than 6" of mouting depth

or you havve to raise the seat like lizard did

if you want 12's get two arc audio 04 model 12" , or two elemental designs 13kv.2

if you go tens there are tons avaialable that will fit

fyi those koda series woofers need really large boxes ( I had a koda 10 once) and dont try and overpower them as the tinsels, or once will start to burp. stick close to the rms or under it a tad

belive me dude after all the research I have done on thee ol titan Id recommend the two I listed since they are 12's and will work in 0.6-0.9 cu ft which you have enough room if you add a littel polyfill to the box--firing up or down --if you need 12" bass

you can find the arc for around 400 for a set, the ed for around 200 for a set

for tens

I like the
image dynamics id10v3
koda 10
eclipse aluminum
soundplinter rl-10 (tc sounds tc2)
if you can wait the ED 11ov.2 should be a great sub

others can chime in

but for our truck, and from what I have heard personlly Id recommend these
without having to loose your back seat or raise the rear seat

if you can rasie the seat

Id highly recommed the 10w6v2, oz audio matrix elite 10" or the eclipse aluminum or higher end series

good luck and fyi I run two special made tc sounds 8" woofers firing into the cab

I designed the box, but had it built (0.96 cu ft per side)---can fit two super 8's like the 8w7 or mine, or four 8's like the id8v3, or the edesigns 9kv.2

I may go the four 8's route, just waitng for my 1000w amp to arrive to do final testing

once it stops raining Ill post pics

I love my Image Dynamics sub. The IDQ 12 would also work. What specifically are you looking for? Your initial thought of a Braham says you want SPL. Although you will get descent SPL from the subs Smoke mentioned I think they are more or less SQ subs. But, then with such a small box it would be difficult to get max SPL out of most subs anyway. So just what are you looking for? BTW, The ED's are nice too!

I am looking for a very nice balance which the brahma presents as it is not just a SPL sub like you think I have seen people win SPL and SQ contests running brahma. I will look at al the subs you guys suggested. but yes I do love some good SPL.

They say Adire makes good subs might be worth a shot! Eclpse 7100 series would fit real nice under the back seat... I had to raise my seats to fit the 8100 series Eclipse subs..

Well according to the spec sheet that sub is going to need a pretty large box. The sealed options listed are 1.9 to 3.5 cu ft enclosure. Gonna have to remove the seats for that LOL.

As far as the Brahma, I do realize that you can get good SQ out of it, but it is one bada$$ sub when set up for SPL! IMO though there are better SQ subs if you were really die hard on SQ.

ya but im really not die hard on either one. you think I would need to remove my seats if I just built one box for the shiva across the whole back?
