Does anybody have a suggestion on a good spot to run the amp power wire through the Firewall?

left side next to the hood latch cable there is a 1/2" hole with a rubber grommet that you can remove..

Hi Lizardking,
Is there a spot that you are aware of along the firewall on the same side as the battery?

Not sure I have never looked over there. I ran all my power wires down the left side. You might try to search (forum) but I think with the HVAC being there I don't think you will have any luck. You could drill your own hole but be very careful.. What size power wire do you plan to run 1/0 or 4gauge?

I drilled on the passenger side--used a 1" unibit and a 18v drill ( 1/2 shank is needed)

but I have 1/0 ga wire though

4ga you only need a 1/2" drill bit

Passenger side on the "N" as mentioned by others in here. The "N" is on the rubber/foam padding. Just drill on the upper portion on the "N" and make sure you clear the ac line on the other side. I would recommend a pilot hole first for centering it and checking for clearnace.
