Ok, i put an XM unit in a titan

With an FM Modulator. Now, his radio

The Memory buttons are supposed to have
Fm1 Fm2 Fm3 then can switch to Am1 Am2 and Am3

Now when you set it to FM, you get FM1, then it automatically jumps to Am2 and AM3.

Then if you set the radio on AM, it will go Am1, am2, am3...

Um, yeah so in other words, anyone seen tihs problem before and know how to correct it?

After installing factory XM tuner in my LE had similar problem of jumping from XM to AM. Seems the radio (Rockford Fosgate wannabe) needs a station programed into each of the six presets in a group (A,B,C) or when it finds a blank one, it jumps to another band (AM or FM or SAT) whether or not presets have been programed in those bands.

When all six presets are filled in FM group A, the up and down button will cycle through all six but will not automatically jump to FM group B or C, or AM or SAT. You have to manually do that. Only when less than six presets are filled in a group will the radio jump to another band looking for a station.

In easier to understand language, just fill all 18 presets on each of the bands (AM, FM, SAT) and the problem is cured.
