Overhead AUX help!!

I'm trying to find out if all overhead consoles are unable to access the AUX mode while using the rear control/headphones. I'm able to scroll using the mode button but it will only highlight AM, FM, and CD. I cannot access the aux. I do have an Ipod connected so I thought it would work. Can anyone tell me if yours is doing the same! The dealer said the 05's do it so it must be normal. I searched this site and found 1 topic on it but it seems to have died and I couldn't find out the outcome. Thanks

I found the same stupid problem. I want to be able to plug my laptop into the AUX port and then have the rear AV controls pump 2 sets of head phones to the kids in the back seat. Currently the only way I know of to have the AUX pump to the headphone jacks in the rear is to have the front head unit set to AUX. Of course that just makes the AUX sound pipe through the truck speakers, so the headphones are not necessary.

Who's the retard that designed that oversight?

It doesn't work, If you look at the 04' wiring diagram there are only 4 remote wires going to it which I assume is am fm cd and dvd. They saved a couple cents not putting in the 5th wire I guess. If you don't have a DVD player or bench seat you can easily hook up another AUX to the DVD prewire. check the link in my sig. for how to.

The tint is fine. You shouldn't have any problem seeing out at night. It sort of like a one way mirror. It lets more light out than in.
