Mount for XM Roady

Found a mount I thought about using for an XM Roady. Has anyone used one of these? Hopefully I posted a picture. I found it at this link http://www.gbxdirect.com/store/cbm_d...62bef9a7fe96d1

I made a mount similar to that one with a radar detector mount for my XM. Its mounted in the lower right hand corner of the bezel. Works good. that is a good price for one of those pre-fab mounts. Crutchfield sells them for almost $40. Go for it!!

If you use that mount what will you do with the wires? Will they just hang down?

I found a radar detector mount at Radio Shack($8.00) and monted my Roady2 on the console in front of the shifter. It partially blocks the towing and differential lock bottons, but I hardly use them. This keeps the wires(power and AUX) close to their connetion points.

If you want a pic let me know.

I hard wired all my stuff ( input, power, antenna.) I basically have 3 wires coming out from the edge of the bezel, nicely wrapped together with as little wire as possible going to the jacks on the XM dock, next to the bracket location. Its very clean, and you hardly notice the wires. Theres a lot of threads on this topic. Do a search for XM install Good luck!
