Pre-Amp output

Sorry if this was discussed before but would like to know if there is a preamp output on my OEM six CD radio system. I Am planning to install an amp and a sub box. Thanks

There are no preamp outs. I recall one post where a guy made preamp outs by soldering the head unit circuit board. Most people use an LOC.

Thanks for the info. Now I'm stuck with the OEM system as I do not intend to change the dash set up/appearance. I also hesitate to use the speaker level as input because I will be using a powerful 1000 watt amp to power a sub-box, wherein the quality produced by the external amp going to the sub-box is directly proportionate to the quality of the signal coming at the speaker level.
I was hoping of amplifying a pure unadulterated signal.
This put me back to my drawing board.
Thanks again. If there are any ideas out there, I need them.
PEACE

Well just got out of the OR . Seems to be a sucses, well at least with the pre outs. Sound is very clean. Will update later. Need to go to sleep. Will post some pics later.
BTW I opened up a nissan RF amp from my old 02 Frontier. Guess what it say on the inside? Rockford corp.... Go figure... At least we know the amp is made by rockford.

And my favorite...

Flush,
Can you give me further schematics and details on the connections you made? Am I assuming that you acquired the signals pre-amp? I am not an engineer but quite capable in following instructions so I would like to tackle this project. I appreciate your help and future assistance to inquiries that I may have.

Check out some of my work on a bus conversion thru my website link below.

PEACE
