may I ask why is your dvd player like that? why not just put it in the dash?
because in this way i still use the original stereo and the alpine i use it trough the aux so i still use the volume inthe steer wheel i also keep the 6 cd changer plus the alpine cd plus the alpine 6 cd changer so i tought it was a great idea to use it like that
hey mexican titan, how is your front plate mounted? i have the skid plate too, and it doesn't look the same as what you have. if you can do a pic of it, i'd appreciate it. thanks and welcome

If you look very close, it looks as though its just dangling from cable ties. I'm sure its not, but it sure looks like it.

i couldnt find a very good pic. if you got the plate frame when you bought the truck, you could just screw it into the crossbar like i did and then mount the plate to the frame normaly. 15000 miles and no problems with it.
thanks for those posts. vshortt, mine used to look like yours. in fact, i had to mount it because it came in plastic in the bed storage from the dealer. a bit of a pain because i had to drill the holes in the skid plate. xsive, when i get my new one i'll see if i like it behind the skid plate like you have it. thanks for the pics.
