Single 10" enclosure

Does anyone know of a q-logic or other single 10" box that will fit under the back seat?

JL Audio has a Stealth box (with 2 10's). But I haven't seen any single empty boxes on the market.

That JL box is $700.00 I have a single 10" sealed wedge box... The size is 5 1/2 top and wedges to 8 1/2 at the bottom. Its 14" tall and 20" wide. The space is .80 cubic ft. It is carpeted and has spring terminals in the back. All the joints are siliconed. Here are some pics of the box and I fitted it in the titan to show you how it will fit. I want $35 for it and that includes shipping. Lemme know, Clintw13@comcast.net

10" sub box

Hey, the Ford Explorer Sport Trac 10" downfire box fits
perfectly under the rear seat of my king cab. It was $125
and sounds great. The stock # at custom sounds in St.louis
is KB FST110DF

Try looking here. Not the cheapest out there but probably THE BEST. They should have something that will fit.

miked,

If you can e-mail me the dimensions you can allow the box to be under your seat (length, width, height) and approx the internal airspace I will nail out a blueprint for a box that will work under the seat for you.

Shoot that blueprint off to whomever you like and they should be able to build something that works for you in about 2 seconds.

Do you have pics of the box installed and out? Is that one 10 or two?

I made a similar box for an 11 KV2 from edesignaudio that requires only .5 cu. ft. That makes the box pretty small so it fits nicely under the rear seat.

The two changes from 1BadTitan's design are (1) the box is downfiring with the bottom face recessed and (2) the rear face of the box that faces toward the rear cab wall is angled rearwardly to match the slope of the cab floor where it slopes upwardly and rearwardly (at least that's what it does in a CC). By sloping the rear face of the box in this manner it captures additional air volume that would otherwise be wasted with a box where the rear face is 90 degrees to the floor of the box.
