It plays MP3's...Duh
I just burned a CD with MP3 files, just on the off chance that the R/F might play them, and sure enough it did!
Was that in the manual?

really? not to insult your intelligence, but, did you really make the disc with MP3s or did you record songs in CD audio from MP3 source files?

Unknown to me, my burning software was doing the conversion from MP3 to audio....I suck!

wouldnt the first hint be that you could only fit 16 "mp3s" total on your cd?

Soory but the R/F system will NOT play MP3s. Believe me I have tried it and it simply rejects the CD. If you got it to work, you obviously didn't burn MP3 tracks, you burned regular CD tracks.
Hint, if you can fit over 100 songs on a CD, then you burned MP3s. If you can only fit 12-15 songs, you burned CDs.

The RF should have had MP3 capability for its price. When you buy an aftermarket player, getting one that can play MP3's is only about $25.00 more. I am going to buy a Rio Carbon portable MP3 player though.

Do the 05's play em?
The Infiniti '05 models play mp3's. I havent noticed if any of the '05 guys here can tho.......
??

It is surprising that a stereo this nice and new doesn't play mp3's.... I plan to just get an mp3 player and plug it into the input on the dash.. has anyone tried this? does the steering wheel control allow you to switch through the tracks?
