anyone have any pros or cons about alphasonic audio equipment. my friend talks them up alot, but i've never heard any of there products.

We just bought my daughter a 12" alphasonic sub in sealed box. I dont know much about audio but it looks pretty cool. It has plexiglass front and has red neon lighting in it. We got her a sony 400 watt amp to power it and it has quite a "kick" to it. (I can hear her down at the end of the next block thumping down the street). I personally dont care for that heavy thumping and hip hop music but she is very happy with the alphasonic.

Alphasonic used to make some pretty good amplifiers...not as good as linear power, orion, and some of the other top amps back in the day but still a good quality amp. It is my understand that over the years, the closed shop and then were purchased by another audio company (not sure who though). As far as their current quality, I have no idea.
