Looking good, I'm sure it will be awesome once you get it finished. That's definately one of the most complicated boxes I've seen for the Titan yet. I'm not looking forward to building my third box.
OK, color is on and it came out better than I expected. I decided not to use true automotive grade paint...just couldn't justify the cost. This box was coated with a gray automotive primer, then sanded smooth with 320 grit paper. Next was a black primer sealer. This was sanded smooth working down to 600 grit wet paper. The paint used was by Plasti-Koat. It is their Kameleon series. I used two coats of black base followed by two coats of Kameleon "Copper to Green". The final step was ~5 coats of clear then two coats of "crystal clear" to really give it the shine I wanted. After it cures for a couple days I'll be ready to place the speakers and use this thing. Too much work, but I do like the finished product. If anyone is interested, I was looking at ~$100 for professional quality paint and the Kameleon stuff cost me $35.
What do you think of Elemental Designs products ? I haven't heard of them before, I visited their website and the products seem pretty good, the amps and subs.
Can you give us any personal opinions you may have on them ?

Now that the box is done, i can install them all listen. I love the way they look. The amps are very stout. This "low end" component set is very well built. I am confident they are exceptional. Read some reviews from the forum on their site ( http://www.icixsound.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=24 ). I know they underate their products, so my NINe.4 amp says 65 X 4, eD says it is actually ~90w X 4.
I was unsure at first, but the price is unbeatable and the reviews made me feel alot better about the product. If they sound as good as I expect, then I got a bargain.

Let me know how they sound when you are all done man, I would like to know how it turns out.
OK guys, I've loaded the components and tested them for sound and they are great!!! And that was off my home stereo. Can't wait to finish this install and hookup the amps! Here are some more pics of the setup with amp in place and just a shot of the crossovers.
Wow looks sharp dude. I had to put subs in my Tundra, and was thinking I will probably have to when i get my Titan. (So close yet so far away) . I'll be interested to know how much this all set you back when you're finally all loaded up and all.
I just completed installing the NINe.4 amp. Still waiting on the subs before I install the rest. Some were asking how the eD stuff sounds...WOW!!! This amp is clean and powerful. eD's web site says 65W x 4, but it must be underrated. I have the gains up 25% and the system is louder and cleaner at volume level 10 than the old system was at 15 with 75% gain. I don't know what that equates to, but I'd guess 90W x 4. Now I know how good these Polk Momo's can really sound. They really come through with some fantastic mid-bass. I was thinking the tweets sounded a bit harsh, but it was apparently the other amp because they sound amazing. I'm all smiles . More pics once the rest is installed.
No matter how well you plan things, something will always go wrong. In my case the I didn't account for the space the connectors would require for the monoblock on the amp tray. So while the amp fits very well (and tight), it is nearly impossible to make the connections. OK, the tray is out and I don't think I'll make a new one so I'm going to re-locate the 4 channel amp under the passenger seat and mount the big monoblock on the back wall. Good thing I made this box in 3 pieces.
My previous entry mentioned mid-bass from the Polk Momo's. Well let me tell you that they are nothing compared to the eDi 6000s I placed in the box. Those speakers absolutely rock!! I can see me eventually scrapping the Momo's for the rest of the eD line.
I almost can't beleive that you fit all that under the back seat. What about a crew cab do you think that it will work. with the crew cab, maybe more room. One last thing did you use twelve for the top Subs. Lemme know thanks
Yeah, I didn't like to fight when I was a kid. Mainly because it was always that one guy and his four friends that wanted to kick my butt all at the same time.

No doubt it would fit better in a crew cab. Slightly more depth under the seats. It is a close fit. That's why I recessed the subs. Otherwise they would be touching the bottom of the seat every time they kick. The subs are 10". Since I need to find a new home for the monoblock, I haven't powered the subs yet. I know I won't be dissapointed though.
