Thanks for the props. It's really been a time and frustration saver with all the help offered on this site. I'll be posting some completion pics soon. While driving around today a idea came to me regarding the monoblock. I thought if I found some flexible banana plugs and a set of RCA cables with small or flexible heads I could still use the tray. Found the plugs at Ultimate and turns out I already had a set of RCA's that would work. Plugged it all in, set the gains and boost and WOW!! I've really got bass now. I can honestly say eD is so much cleaner than any other speaker I've heard. The amps are good size and good power. The NINe.1 I've got is putting out 900W (450 per side) @ 2 ohm. I think in a crew cab you can place 12's. I've seen a few postings in this forum from guys that have done that. They fit about like these 10's do in my KC. Just watch the volume requirements. Many 12's want alot of volume. And the XMax...the subs may contact the seat if they are long.
The components are 6.5". Actually they are ~6.75". And, as I found out the hard way, they require a cutout of almost 7.25". They are eD's entry level speakers, but they definitley put the Polk Momo's to shame.
