Head Rest Repalcements

I am wanting to ordrer 2005 headrests for my 2004 Titan. Can someone tell me they positively fit. The dealer is rather wishy washy on the issue and will not promise compatibility. Anyone made this mod???

I'm also looking for change in my headrests, they are WAY too far back to be comfortable. Keep us posted.

Your dealer is wishy washy. How hard would it be for him to let you park your Titan next to an '05 on his lot and swap them out to see if they work?

How much are a set of 05 headrests? I have an 05 but am playing with the idea of getting some monitors installed and want to have the option of going back to stock.

I checked price....$80.00 each for cloth headrests like in SE. As far as I can tell by looking at them they are identical in the support columns...Did not have a tape measure to be sure though.

Pics and measurements would be cool for whoever gets them. I wonder how much the leather ones are?

Re: Head Rest Repalcements

The only complaint I have with my 05 truck is the headrests actually. I'm 5'10" and for me, the way the headrest presses the back of my head is uncomfortable. My girlfriend who is much shorter than me drives the truck sometimes and has said the same thing. I've tried all types of seating postions and it didn't help. I got fed up one day on a drive and I removed the headrest and turned it around. Now it doesn't touch my head at all, but I still get some type of support if I lean my neck back slightly further than straight up. Anyway, I'd make sure they are comfortable for you before you thought of changing them. Anyone else have this problem??
