They are bigger than my house ground wires....

I was going to ask why are the ground wires so small. I did lizardking's 0 gage battery-chassis-block ground upgrade on the theory that you are better off with one good ground path rather than numerous smaller guage paths.

The point of upgrading the ground system is that the OEM ground arrangement is inadequate & frequently results in alternator whine in connection with installlation of after market high power stereo systems. Also, some people experience a "ticking" problem caused by arcing with the inadequate factory ground arrangement.

That fuse holder looks nifty.

so how did you get the stock fuse box to stay on like that?? I see a baterry terminal but how does the fuse box attach

that was the only thing keeping me from buying a optima, which model did you get by the way??

and how did you secure it--use the stock metal brackets??

and was it tall enough to match the ht of the stock battery?

sorry for all the questions Im just excited that this is now possible at the stock battery sucks--it has drained out on me twice already--lol

Ok the platinum terminals have 3 holes for power wires for amps etc. It also has a post for another terminal to mount onto it. Thats how I did the mounting. I got the 34r, 800cca, 950ca and its got the reverse terminals. It is the same height as the stock battery. Yea mine drained twice also.

The fuseblock with the meter is made by some company called "audiopipe". I liked the display. It has an 80 amp flat blade fuse in it. not the oversize colored fuse but the blade style phoenix gold uses in their big fuse blocks. I'll get some pics of that for you and a close up of the terminal connections.

it will elimiate it, at least it did in my truck
