Question Brushed Alluminum Dash Kit?

Hey,

I'm a newbie to this forum and I have a question that your guys might be able to help me with. Well, I am interested in an Brushed alluminum Dash kit for my 04 Titan.
Does anyone in this forum have this installed in there truck? If so where did they buy it from and how much? If you could post pictures with your response that would be great.

Thanks in advance for the input!

Hi, I just installed a Sherwood Real Brushed Aluminum kit. It looks pretty good but I did screw up one piece and once you try to peel it off to reset, forget it. I ordered mine from wooddash.com. The one thing that I don't like is that eventhough it looks really cool, it is very obvious that it is an add on. The edges just kind of end, they don't taper down or anything like that so you can tell that they are just stuck on. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

They did forget to send a piece for my rear cup holder. Not a biggie though.

If you could post some pics that would be great. I am looking into getting the Sherwood Alluminum dash kit also. I don't think the one that I am looking at right now is "REAL" Brushed alluminum. The kit that I am interested in comes in a 54 piece set. The place that sells it explained to me that the installation is pretty easy and I would have to use an adhesive promoter. I'm not sure how that works because I've never used it. Have you had experienece with the adhesive promoter?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I installed the wooddash.com real brushed aluminum kit in my Armada. Had a custom piece cut by edashkit.com for my single-din radio. Check out pics at:

Here are some pics from my install. I have accidentally left off one piece and need to get more adhesive promoter. I did mess up the passenger vent (very thin) and a speaker cover.........$41 to replace. I think that it looks pretty good though. I'm not thrilled about the 2 Armada cut outs on the main panel or the place where the 4x4 switch goes, but overall I like it.

BTW, I do have the glove box cover, but if you let the adhesive promoter sit for a minute it totally dries out. The kit came with 2, I used the first one for about 5 pieces, attached them, then went back to use it again and it's useless. Just be sure to do quite a bit at a time.
