They make a lot of laptop holders for cars, Here is a link to one for Chevys http://www.laptop-stand.us/chev/default.html
And one other site. http://www.jottodesk.net/
I had one in my old car, Plug in the laptop into a dc/ac supply or get the car adaptor. Use the Headphone jack, plug it into the aux jack. You have it all through the truck spkrs. If you don't have the Aux jack, but have a tape player, they have the ones that plug in like the old portable CD players.
I have delorme's street atlas program on it with the gps unit (100 bucks) and used it a lot when driving. With all the songs I saved to it I could take a trip and never hear the same song twice. And DVDs, nothing like the bigger screen of the laptop to watch it on.
